Step-by-Step: How to Find Properties that Match Your Criteria Using Property Intel’s Interactive Map

1. Start your search from the Property Intel homepage

   Type a location like a neighborhood, city, county, or ZIP code into the search bar on the homepage. As you type, suggested matches will appear. Simply select the location you're looking for or hit enter.

   
   

2. You’ll land on the interactive map for that location

   Each dot on the map represents a residential property. You can zoom in and out, move across the map, and click on any dot to preview high-level details on that property.

   
   

3. Want to understand how properties are distributed by ownership, equity, occupancy, or other characteristics? Use Market Views.

   Click the “Market View” button on desktop or the Market View icon on mobile to turn on overlays that reveal patterns like:

   • Occupancy status

   • Rental income potential

   • Property value distribution

   • Owner equity and mortgage rate ranges

   • Average owner age

   • Length of ownership

   
   

   Once you select a Market View, you’ll see the colors of each property dot on the map update. Each color represents a data range or condition in the area.

   
   

   This gives you quick visual context for identifying patterns across markets and honing in on areas with key potential indicators like high rental income.

   
   

4. Ready to focus the map on properties that matter most to you? Use Filters to define your criteria.

   Click “All Filters” on desktop or the Filter icon (top left on mobile) to open your filter menu.

   
   

   Apply filters that reflect your goals, from standard property features to proprietary owner insights:

   • Occupancy status (owner-occupied, rental, vacant)

   • Ownership type (individual, LLC, trust)

   • Length of ownership and owner age

   • Estimated equity and mortgage rate

   • Availability of owner contact information

   • Property value and rental income potential

   • Property type, beds, baths, square footage, year built
